Why become an EAMHID member?

 

As a member of EAMHID, you will receive free online access to the Journal of Intellectual Disability Research (JIDR) as well as discounts on registration fees for the biennial EAMHID congresses and joint seminars organized in collaboration with EAMHID. Discounts on registration fees apply for one person (individual membership) or up to five persons (institutional membership). 

While our congresses provide excellent opportunities for all participants to stay up to date and connect with clinicians and researchers in the field from across Europe, EAMHID members enjoy free exclusive access to our Special Interest Groups (SIGs). These SIGs provide opportunities for more in-depth collaboration in both research and practice. They typically meet once or twice a year and focus on specific topics.


Currently, we offer the following SIGs:

  • Children, Adolescents and Families (CAF-SIG)
  • Emotional Development (NEED)
  • Offenders with Intellectual Disabilities

1.       Please complete the application/renewal form for a new membership and return it by email to the treasurer. 

2.       Transfer € 85 for an individual membership or € 400 for an institutional membership to our account:
